Men’s Health, in brief
Heart
Heart attacks and strokes are the world’s leading cause of death, and men tend to develop heart disease younger than women. Blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar and waist size are the numbers to know.
Heart health check →Prostate
An enlarged prostate is common in men over 50 and can cause a weak flow, urgency or getting up at night. It is usually not cancer, but new urinary symptoms are always worth checking.
Prostate symptom score →Fertility
Sperm problems play a part in many couples’ difficulty conceiving. Smoking, heavy drinking, obesity, heat and anabolic steroids can all affect sperm, and only a semen analysis can measure it.
Fertility checker →Mental health
Many men find it hard to talk about stress or low mood, so problems can go unnoticed for a long time. Depression and anxiety are common and treatable. In India, Tele-MANAS is free on 14416; in the US, call or text 988.
Weight & fitness
Men tend to store fat around the belly, where it does the most harm. The WHO advises 150–300 minutes of moderate activity a week plus muscle-strengthening on 2 days. For South Asian men, a waist of 90 cm or more is the action point.

Erection problems become more common with age and can be an early sign of blood-vessel disease. Check your testicles monthly for lumps (testicular cancer mostly affects men aged 15–49) and get tested for STIs after new partners.
Erectile health check →🚑 Get help now: Call an ambulance (108 or 112 in India, 911 in the US) for chest pain or pressure, sudden breathlessness or signs of a stroke. See a doctor urgently if you cannot pass urine at all, see blood in your urine, have sudden severe pain in a testicle, or have thoughts of harming yourself.
Common questions
What health checks should men have?
Most adult men benefit from regular checks of blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar, weight and waist size. From middle age, ask your doctor about prostate symptoms and whether a PSA test is right for you. How often you need each check depends on your age and risk.
At what age do prostate problems start?
Benign prostate enlargement becomes common after about 50. Urinary symptoms at any age, especially blood in the urine or pain, should be checked by a doctor.
Are these men’s health tools private?
Yes. Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent to us, and the fertility and erectile health checklists do not even put your answers in the page address.
Can these tools diagnose a condition?
No. They are screening checklists and calculators for general information. Use the results to start a conversation with your doctor.
General health information, not medical advice. Please ask your doctor what is right for you.
